About

This project was developed by LIAAD - Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and Decision Support. LIAAD is an R&D laboratory at INESCTEC. It is one of the associated units of INESC Tec which is funded by Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT, Portugal).

Authors

• Ricardo Campos is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Engineering, University of Beira Interior (UBI, Portugal), and a Senior Member of LIAAD-INESC TEC, the Artificial Intelligence and Decision Support Laboratory at the University of Porto (Portugal). He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Porto.

• Vítor Mangaravite is, as of May 2025, a Senior Data Scientist at Banco Itaú (Brazil). He was a research intern at LIAAD-INESC TEC, the Artificial Intelligence and Decision Support Laboratory of the University of Porto (Portugal), from 2016 to 2018. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (Brazil).

• Arian Pasquali is, as of May 2025, a Machine Learning Engineer at Faktion (Belgium) and a research associate at LIAAD-INESC TEC, the Artificial Intelligence and Decision Support Laboratory of the University of Porto (Portugal). He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Porto, with a specialization in data mining.

• Alípio M. Jorge is a Full Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science, University of Porto (Portugal), and has been the coordinator of LIAAD-INESC TEC since 2012. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Porto.

• Célia Nunes is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematics, University of Beira Interior (UBI, Portugal), and a member of CMA - Center of Mathematics and Applications at UBI. She holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from UBI.

• Adam Jatowt is an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science, University of Innsbruck (Austria). He received his Ph.D. in Information Science and Technology from the University of Tokyo (Japan) in 2005.
